Violone and Double Bass Sheet Music (PDF)

Dear double bass players, 
my effort is that my sheet music helps musical compositions to sound as they sounded at the time of their creation. This is especially important for classical period compositions, for which I publish also sheet music in original “Viennese Tuning”, (strings tuned either to A, D, F sharp, A or to F, A, D, F sharp, A). This tuning was used in baroque and classical period music, especially in the Central Europe. Instruments with this tuning has richer, more melodic sound, thanks to its “chordal” tuning, unlike the Double basses used today, which are tuned to E, A, D, G . For Violone in “Viennese Tuning”, composed well-known and famous personalities such as J. M. Sperger, K. D. Dittersdorf, F. A. Hoffmeister, J. K. Vaňhal, A. Zimmermann, V. Pichl and others.
